Big Red Barn RV Park is a short 1 1/2 mile drive from Wal-Mart and Walgreen's in Carthage. We are 3 1/2 miles north of exit 18-B on I-44. US71 north intersects I-44 at this exit. See map below for more information..

From Interstate 44: East or West bound:

Exit   I - 44 at exit 18-B (US 71North). Go north 3 miles to the Garrison Ave exit and take it. Slow down on the exit ramp and make an immediate right onto S. Grand Ave. Go 1/2 mile on S. Grand to Elm Rd. and then left onto Elm Rd. Go 1/3 mile to Big Red Barn RV Park.

From North of Carthage on US71:

Traveling south on US 71, go past Carthage and exit at the "HH, Fir Rd, Carterville" exit. At the top of the exit ramp turn left (east) and cross over US 71. Travel one mile to the traffic signal at Grand Ave. Walgreen's and Wal-Mart are at this intersection. Turn right at this signal and travel approx 1/3 mile watching closely for S. Grand Ave on the left. Turn left onto S Grand Ave., following it for 1/2 mile to Elm Rd. Turn left on Elm Rd for 1/3 mile to Big Red Barn RV Park.

From Arkansas:

Follow US71 north to the exit for Interstate 44. The signs there indicate Kansas City and St. Louis. Go east on I - 44 to exit 18-B and take that exit north (US71) for 3 miles to the Garrison Ave exit. Take that exit, slow down on the exit ramp and make an immediate right onto S.Grand Ave. Go 1/2 mile and then left onto Elm Rd. Go 1/3 mile to Big Red Barn RV Park.

If you are traveling on US 96 or "old Route 66":

Continue until you reach US 71 and turn south onto US 71 continuing until you see the "HH/Carterville exit". Take that exit and at the top of the exit ramp turn left (east) and cross over US 71. Go one mile to the traffic signal at Grand Ave. Walgreen's and Wal-Mart are at this intersection. Turn right at this signal and travel approx 1/3 mile watching closely for S. Grand Ave on the left. Turn left onto S Grand Ave., following it for 1/2 mile turn left on Elm Rd for 1/3 mile to Big Red Barn RV Park.
